Merry Christmas

2012 is finally ending. Much of the year has not been too bad, but that shit in January coloured much of the following months. Still nearly getting knifed by 8 armed people trying to break into my flat tends to irritate me. The halfwit magistrates only giving them community sentences annoyed me more though. The poor little darlings didn’t get enough hugs as kiddies or something.

2013 is looking to be much better though. This is a good thing Open-mouthed smile

Annoying Phrases & Words

There are are words, phrases and sayings that irritate and annoy me. Sometimes I feel very sorry for my poor Goat as the poor little bugger is often getting “got”

Like many dislikes, there is of course, not necessarily a logical, or indeed any reason for a particular target to raise my ire.

“That Film made me cold” – I find this an absolutely infuriating and pointless way to suggest that one didn’t enjoy a film. WTF. No it bloody didn’t make you “cold”. Turn up the heating you Swit.

“Looking for a Genuine Man/Lady” – A phrase often used by people wanting a romantic partner. I spent a long time assuming that most of the “men” who contact these girls on meeting turn out to be a girl called Mary wearing a fake moustache, and the poor guys were turning up on a date to find that “Sexy Sandra” is actually Frank from down the road in a wig and dress.

The intent behind the real meaning of this annoying phrase is in fairness no less daft though. Do people really think a faker/liar will look at those words and think “oh, I better not message him/her then, I shall keep looking till I find someone advertising that they want to be lied to, cheated on and generally mistreated”

“Mom” Now this is a perfectly acceptable spelling and word to say. If your American. It is standard American English. What is annoying the absolute hell out of me, are the morons in the UK now spelling it like that. You live on a nice estate in Leeds sweetie, not Los Angeles.

Umbrellas

It is time that a Personal Licence was made a legal requirement for the owning and usage of an Umbrella. Granting of the Licence would be conditional upon completing mandatory Umbrella Handling and Etiquette lessons, and most importantly of all, upon proving to the Licencing Authority that you are not a complete fuckwit.

Whilst the fuckwittery component of this new legislation will of course mean a severe decline in the numbers of people who will be lawfully entitled to own and carry an umbrella, the benefits to increasing the safety of citizens out shopping will more than compensate. And, in all fairness, if you have failed the fuckwit component, then you deserve to get wet instead of risking the eyes and heads of passing innocent pedestrians, you selfish fuckwit.

Slumlord!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-18892925

So, Aberystwyth Slumlord, Emyr Davies has been done again for, well, being a Slumlord!

He has in the last few years had properties, including homeless hostels seized by the County Council due to the horrific conditions people were being forced to live in. Sadly, Emyr is not alone, he seems to be typical of an Aberystwyth Landlord, however, most manage to remain “Faceless” and its a mystery who owns a large swathe of rented property in the town.

He actually had the Gall to claim that he did not understand what “Newly refurbished” due to Welsh being his first language. Firstly, if that was true, then WHY did he put in words he did not understand? Secondly, I used to do business with him in an old job, he speaks English just fine, and being a Landlord and Hotelier will of course fully understand what Newly Refurbished means FFS.

What an Idiot.

Ian Tomlinson

So, once again, the Metropolitan Police have quite literally gotten away with Murder.

The Officer who caused the innocent passerby Ian Tomlinson’s death by striking him with a Baton has been cleared by the Jury.

The problem is, the Jury were not shown important evidence. Such as the fact that the Dr who performed the original Autopsy was under GMC (General Medical Council) investigation for either intentionally botching autopsys for the Met and others, or was simply unfit to carry them out. 2 further autopsys were then carried out, by I believe 2 different Pathologists, and both found the cause of death to be “Blunt force trauma as caused by a Police baton”

It turns out that the Officer in question actually has a history of violence and road rage offences, and actually left the Met in 2001 to evade a Disciplinary Investigation by the Police Complaints Commission after he was prosecuted. And was then, amazingly let back into the Met in 2004. A History of Violence is apparently no barrier to joining or rejoining the Met.

Ian’s family are looking at pursuing civil action, though it’s unclear whether they will be going after the Officer, or the Met, or both. I wish them the best of luck and hope they can at some point achieve Justice for Ian’s Murder.

This finding of not guilty is the result of a long line of botched attempts to hinder the investigation, delay proceedings till it was too late, and applying the wrong charges by the Met and the Crown Prosecution Service to protect the Officer from justice.

NHS “Reform”

If you are wondering what the NHS will look like after the “reforms” as Cameron is busy selling of vital services and departments to private companies, then take a look at the Olympics.

Look how well G4S is fulfilling its contract to provide security. Look at ATOS, and the fraudulent medicals they perform. Look at the Mandatory Work Programme, and the mass fraud that is endemic, especially the likes of A4E who look like they may be committing fraud in every region they have a contract, not just the one they lost the contract for.

Look at all them. That is how the butchered NHS is going to be run. Profit and Targets before Lives and Safety. Take a look at the recently privatised Out of Hours GP Service in Cornwall, during Jubilee Weekend, peoples lives were put at risk because the service provided is so poor, they have also been caught.. yes, you guessed it, committing Fraud, fiddling the books to appear as though they are performing better.

That sadly, is how Cameron wants the entire NHS to be run. Sad smile

Anonymous

Thanks to the way the media portrays it (government influence perhaps?) Anonymous appears to be widely misperceived by the general public.

The common perception is of a small group of nerdy Hackers causing chaos and annoyance, committing electronic crimes and waging Cyber Warfare.

Anonymous has become something more than that. The Concept of being “Anonymous” to hide ones face from the Police, to express some of the political issues of V for Vendetta, its spread, its now a worldwide movement. From Nairobi to Buenos Aires, That beautiful (in)famous mask makes its appearance at protests. Guy Fawkes’s face is a fitting symbol, he attempted to be a force for change, for good, he attempted to bring down a wicked, tyrannical government that was oppressing people of his faith. He wanted to bring down the system and replace it with something better.

Within the so called Bastions of Civilisation, the highly developed, wealthy and “ethical” West, people are starving, dressing in rags, dying from easily treatable medical conditions. This is thanks to both Corporate and Political Greed. The Corporations have gone too far, have become too powerful and have far too much say in how our lives are led, and what laws are passed. Remember! Want a Digital Economy Act to be brought into Law? All it cost was a major Holywood Millionaire taking that vile, corrupt dickhead, Peter Mandellson out for Dinner and slipping him a brown bag full of cash.

The System is corrupt and broken. The Mask makes it harder for Police to track and gather intelligence on Protesters. It keeps them from knowing who we are. There is power in anonyminity and you can see the Anger growing. It’s just not the Black Flag Active Service Units they want tagged and bagged on their data systems. Normal innocent people, Social Workers, Nurses, Fathers and Mothers, Factory Technicions, people who have not, and will not commit a crime, loot, riot, people who have simply turned up hoping their voice will be heard in innocent protest. Because they dare to show dissent against the Government, and its Political Classes, the Police want to know everything about them, it wants electronic files of information, purely for using our democratic right to peaceful protest!

Anonyminity is a weapon, and it appears to make the Authorities very nervous. Afterall they don’t know who is under the mask. the current British system is all about information control and warefare, social engineering and propoganda. Hate filled policy after hate filled policy, declaring war on the poor. Who would ever have believed that in 2012 the United Kingdom would have desperately needed and oversubscribed Food Banks?

David Cameron, his cabinet of wankerish privilaged, tax dodging millionaires and morally and politically reprehensible turncoats and ideological traitors like that prat Clegg, have absolutely no experience of real life, they cannot legislate for the Electorate of Great Britain in 2012, they haven’t a clue what life is like for us, they don’t know what a pint of milk costs, “Cook” or “Nanny” deals with all that malarkey.

The Cabinet, the Houses of Parliament and Great Britain’s political classes are sick, infected, diseased, and incurable. The Parties churn out an endless stream of plastic, factory generic Candidates to stand for election, no experience of real life, of what people have to face, they follow an easy and simple route: Graduate from Uni with a law or politics degree > Walk straight into a “Research” or similar job with their Party of choice, then work for dues for a couple of years before they get selected. Carbon copies of non entities, people with no personality, no will to rule the country for the people, or to help them, because PARTY IS KING.

That is the state of British Politics. The Voters, the people the Government is supposed to serve are last on the list (If we are even on it) The current Government is running GB PLC purely for the Conservative Party and its friends best interests, not the countries, not the economy, not the voters. When New Labour was in power, they ran GB PLC purely for New Labour….. The Political Parties are fetishised to an astonishing degree, it is why the Whip’s exist, because without them, Ministers might dare to vote according to their beliefs, their morals, ethics and conscience, and those things may not coincide with what is best for the Party. Because the Party is King.

It all needs dismantling and rebuilt. You cannot fix something that is so diseased, you have to start again. And by Legislation, or civil insurrection and rebellion, the Political Classes MUST be exterminated as a force. Ban the typical route of graduate>researcher>stand for election.

Politics and Movies

These are 3 of the films that I find tie in quite nicely with a lot of my political beliefs.

  • V for Vendetta
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0434409/

This film has a lot to say about how easily politicians are able to manipulate the public through fear, despite the original graphic novel being written in the early 80’s, its message and content tie in wonderfully with now, as Fear is pumped out at us through media outlets daily. It also points out the uncomfortable truth that sometimes, the system is so broken, it cannot be repaired, but must be completely dismantled, and that sometimes, a “monster” is needed to do that.

  • Kick Ass
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1250777/
The politics to this are I suppose are more subtle, though the claims made about them are highly amusing, they range from “This is an Illuminati message” through to “Libertarian”. The main message is actually that we are all, each and every one of us responsible for our society, As the hero says “with no power comes no responsibility… except that’s not true” as Edmund Burke said
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing”

I don’t actually see why a society cannot be cohesive and look after each other whilst also retaining and protecting everyones individuality. It is where the left and right go wrong. Hardline Lefties would like our society to resemble the Borg Collective, whilst Hardline Righties would like our society to resemble the Wild West, just a union of “Lone Gunslingers” the ideal solution lies in the middle.

  • Fight Club
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0137523/

Ahh, good old FC. The message of this, is that normal everyday people should stop being pushed around by large corporations, that we should again retain an element of individuality, in a world where marketing managers want us to join their particular Borg Collective. It is about how we are chained by debt, credit cards, the latest fashions, and how we should resist that. Interestingly, for such a “political” and a controversial political film at that, there seems to be very little mention of Government/The Authorities, this is all about the battle between normal human being’s Souls and Big Business, its more an anti corporate film than Political if anything, but its lessons can be applied to Politics.

Rather wonderfully, the Right/Republicans in the United States were foaming at the mouth over this, and claimed that it was a “Fascist’s Handbook”. If that is the case, then please, send me my stylish Uniform with attention grabbing Insignia, for I must be a Fascist.

By the means with which they grab us, whether a credit card with enticing APR, or a supermarket clubcard, these corporations are gathering and maintaining absolutely incredible data and information about our daily lives, and of course, with information comes power and to a point, control. People are rightly getting very worked up about various means the UK Government desires to spy and control our internet and other data use and habits (the proposed legislation includes the authority to scan and store postcards!) and all the other ways in which they want to access our data from various sources.

They get worked up about this, as they should, but nobody stops for one second to think about what Tesco is holding on them right now, thanks to the Club Card they blithely signed up for to get the odd discount voucher. Tesco’s knows what you buy, how often you buy it, it knows what bank accounts or credit cards you use to buy it with, and can predict a stunning amount of stuff about you, accurately. Last year, one US Supermarket, I forget which, has become so accurate at using these methods with our data, that a young girl who had recently discovered she was pregnant received discount vouchers for Nappies, etc, before she had even told anyone she was expecting!

Fight Club also get’s Kudos from me, for introducing me to one of the best songs ever written, to a stunning backdrop, no less.

The Work Programme

Even worse Stories are coming out now. Certain Providers such as Maximum are attempting, via threats of sanction and long term “cleaning jobs for free” to force its “customers” into going Self Employed and actively defrauding HMRC.

They are even providing advice on the best way to defraud HMRC. WTF. And the DWP appears to be doing nothing as usual. Absolute disgrace.

Doncaster

Sadly, I wasted spent 3 years living near Doncaster, in a village called Stainforth. It is where the mine, Hatfield Main is located.

The village was a complete hell hole and was used by Donny Council as a dumping ground for its absolute worst tenants, the scummiest chav’s one could meet.

Even decent people had a massive grudge against the Police there, as being a pit town it was heavily involved in the Miners Strike, and saw some major Police Brutality. Horrid, dirty, trashy place, and yet, it did have some beauty.

This was my and the exes house and the view behind it, looking towards the Canal.

PICT0043

Ver 0.30N

Doncaster did in fairness have some nice bits, but sadly as well as very much deserving its “Chav Capital” status, its an incredibly racist and intolerant place. Donny of course, elected England’s first English Democrat Party Mayor. The ED are basically the BNP for middle class racists who don’t wish to rub shoulders with the proles of the BNP or EDL.

One was very amused that the Mayor, a former Head Teacher appeared to lack research skills, or indeed possess much of an Intellect – maybe on joining the English Democrats one has to have brain cells removed? Most of his Manifesto for which he was elected on turned out to be Illegal, the rest would have seen Donny Council facing extremely expensive legal challenges for decades to come.

At least the country has seen how poor English Democrats are at running a council and hopefully this damaged the party, though this was 2 or 3 years ago.

Escaping Rural Hell

I am always open to suggestions and advice for attempting to again escape from the Aberystwyth Black Hole back to Civilisation so I can have a life once more.

So please comment with suggestions. I have no clue how to get the funds. The benefit I am currently on does not allow me to apply for budgeting loans which is a pain in the buttocks.

Rural hell is no fun at all, being stuck in a small town full of small people who are burdened with antiquated ideas and philosophy, and annoying habits.

The pubs are full of people my age just wasting their lives away, every day/all day/evening. No real existence, just work, if they do, and several pints a day, such a waste of money. I do not see the attraction of living that existence, its not a life, propping a bar up, yet its a common past time round here, people with no imagination, no ambition, no desire, no will. It’s the Aber Curse. Once you get embraced by that existence, you will wake up one day and your 55 and wondering where the hell your life went, and what happened for the last 25 years.

One needs to flee.

Extradition Treaty

It really is time the dreadful, one sided and completely unfair Extradition Treaty was put on hold pending investigation and a renegotiation.

Richard O'Dwyer from Sheffield for example. His “crime” was running a website that showed links to content some of which breached copyright, he did not host any of it, he has never visited the US, his site was never hosted in the US, he never targeted a US audience. British Police have never shown any interest in attempting to prosecute him for any alleged crimes, indeed similar sites have in fact won their trials.

Yet, Richard is now fighting extradition to the US. We have a treaty that allows the US to kidnap any British Citizen, whenever they want, for any reason (or none!) even if you have never intentionally done anything to the US. I say Anti American stuff sometimes, if what I have said in any way breaches the laws of the United States, despite being in the UK, they could have me extradited to face charges. THAT is how far reaching the treaty is, it effectively allows the United States to impose and enforce US Law on British Citizens living within the United Kingdom.

You might think the UK Appeal Judge would not allow such stuff to happen? Well….. thats the other brilliant part of the Treaty – the US does not have to show ANY Prima Facie evidence of a crime. It is literally the case that a US Prosecutor will contact the UK Court System and say “we think he/she is a bad’un, honest guv, god’s truth, would I lie?” And that’s' it. Due Legal Process eh. So much for civil rights.

A page for a group campaigning against the treaty is below:

Shiny Head

There is nothing like a freshly shaven bonce, and thanks to my personal barber, I once more have the most stylish, and never out of fashion of haircuts, the shaved head.

Take a look around at all the people in positions of power, making the world that bit nastier, politicians, bankers, CEO’s of multination corporations, not a freshly shaved bonce amongst them. There is I feel a lesson to be learned in that.

Maybe having all that hair is in some way interrupting their brains!

How to Save the Country

Just some random thoughts on how one could save the country bring in/spend less money without having to butcher social provision and wage war against the Poor, and to introduce social justice, and fairness to things such as debt problems.

It is very simple. Don’t Vote Tory or Lib Dem. Simples. Smile with tongue out

More seriously, some ideas:

  • Scrap Trident.
  • Cut VAT down to about 11%. If things are cheaper, people will buy more. 1000 items @ 11% must surely bring in more money than 500 items @ 17%

Other EU Nations have a higher VAT rate than us, but items are generally cheaper.
  • All Ombudsmen, especially the OFT, to be given real teeth, and the ability, and indeed a legal requirement to levy far higher fines, and indeed, to be legally obliged to investigate all complaints against a company, not wait till they have 10,000 before acting.
  • The complete removal and dismantling of the Bailiff system, to be replaced with the humane system of Northern Ireland. The NI System is also far more effective.
  • Introduction of Local Income Tax to replace Council Tax. Under an LIT system, research has shown that most households would actually be paying a good chunk less per month, under a well designed LIT system. The savings alone in not having to administer Council Tax, to go to court, to chase debtors, contract with Bailiffs are astonishing – it would also mean no more Council Tax benefit, and the costs of administering that – LIT is removed from wage at source.
  • A hefty 30% government tax on Bank Penalty charges (it has been proven that penalty charges a vastly, to the tune of thousands of % higher than the actual cost to a bank of the reasons for issuing one, the banks are making billions in free money out of them, so let the taxpayer have a slice – the banks would not be allowed to increase charges to cover this, they would have to swallow it and shut the hell up)
  • Parking fines, speeding tickets – no more having to send money/pay by card. once issued you have 60 days to pay, if you have not paid within 60 days, the Court will attach your earnings instead, but at fair rates. On Benefits - £3 in Work up to 20 grand PA £10 a week and so on. No Bailiff’s remember, but this new system will be fairer, far cheaper to run, and wont cost the finee hundreds of pounds in bailiff/enforcement charges, this system would also massively increase collection rates, and speed it all up
  • The end of taxpayer’s subsidiary's for bars and restaurants in the Houses of Parliament.
    • The creation of Legislation specifically, and purely to deal with Local and Central government contracting. For example, far heavier penalties for failing to meet delivery schedules, a requirement that the Official dealing with the taxpayers side of the contract is fully qualified, trained and experienced in the service that is being negotiated – so a DWP Official dealing with an IT Contract to implement a new IT System, would themselves be a qualified systems programmer. Possibly the creation of a very small “Contracts Ombudsmen” to oversee taxpayer service contracts*

State Contracting is a lucrative enough business, and the Contractors are taking the piss, they have so many ways of slowing down, and borking whatever they are implementing to make even more money. I would also consider “Monopoly” regulation.
    • * The Contracts Ombudsmen would also have a sideline in checking out contracts offered by private corporations to the public, to ensure they are fair.
  • More to come
  •

STD Testing for Benefits Claimants?

A young woman in a news article this week said that she was sent onto the Mandatory Work programme by the DWP, and at her first appointment with the provider, A4E, her advisor, who going by the norm for these companies, will have absolutely no prior qualifications or experience in getting people back into work, and is very likely not particularly intelligent…

Think redundant travel agents given a bit of power – these muppets think that “having a job” is some sort of qualification that empowers them to dispense advice, even to people with a dozen more qualifications and 20 years more in the employment market than them.

So, the nasty little prat this particular girl found herself dealing with demanded the gobsmacked young lady go and get herself tested for Chlamydia, but provided no explanation as to why. I hope she sues them. Sadly at the moment, there is no more information on the incident than that presented, other than the Lady went to her MP to complain.

Link to article that mentions it (It is a general article on how, once again the Providers are completely and utterly failing their contractual obligations)

Hello and Welcome

Hello and welcome to my Insanity, err, I mean my new Blog it is the older one, but cunningly redesigned with very nearly the same logo and layout, but subtly different enough so don't go trundling off to Trading Standards just yet! :P .

Here be a place for random thoughts, rants and anything else that tickles my fancy, or indeed fancies my tickle.

Expect Daleks, Monsters, Nature, Space, Ghosts and complex theories on things you have no interest in. There shall be Anti Tory, Liberal Democrat and Government Diatribes. Marvel at strange pictures, and be amused and cheered by my razor sharp wit and cutting edge humour.

If you look carefully below you can see the invisible picture of Aberystwyth I took earlier, it is a brilliant and wicked new smart phone app I have invented. its called "Nothingthereagram".

I suspect that I shall become a billionaire from this excellent and novel idea, there is surely a gap in the market! :)
